Hey, where was everybody?  As you can tell there was a storm this evening and only those of us that lived in Wellsboro made it to Diny’s office.

We did have a nice conversation explaining details of SOHP to Susan Mercuri.  She had participated in the clothing give away in August and she is a volunteer driver with the Agency.  She was happy to gather all the information about who we are, where we store our stuff and how things are done.  Welcome, Susan.

We talked about the donations for the band or chorus trip.  The letters and emails did not bring in much money.  Remember we had put out a request in December so this request may have been too soon or, as we discussed, there could also have been a question about the request versus the mission of SOHP.  We received $100 for the band trip and $70 for the chorus trip.  The 16 year old boy going on the band trip had also received $100 from the advisory board.  Ms. Janeski, the band instructor, was kind enough to wait for our response.  The monies were supposed to be in by February 11th but I had asked her if she could wait until our 18th meeting.  So we did act on that for that reason and were able to fund that trip.  We can discuss the chorus trip in March.

The checking account balance is currently $1970.00.  We did have a monthly report from Carol Campbell, which I am sure you will see in March also.

All other information will be given at the regular March meeting (weather permitting).  Hope to see you all there.
