NEW BUSINESS:
  1. Larry Miller 1 and Larry Miller 2 have been doing pick- ups and deliveries in the absence of Carl Matteson. They have asked that there be better coordination between the case workers and the persons making the deliveries. They have suggested that we do not accept sofa beds as they are too heavy to handle.
  2. Seeds of Hope Partners has received a donation of $500.00 through Helping Hands of Allstate Insurance.
  3. Marty Willard reported that there are candy packets available from Mission Central for Christmas. She just needs to know how many we want and when they are needed. She asked for anyone to let her know if there is a handicap accessible facility in the area which could be used for a Mission Central HUB to collect supplies and assemble kits for disaster response.
  4. Seeds of Hope is in need of cribs and pack and plays.
  5. Seeds of Hope Partners has received several requests for help from outside  of the Human Services Agency. We work in partnership with the county through the caseworkers from Family Services. When requests are made we need to ask if the person has a caseworker. Carole will send letters to Guideline and other places too let them know who we are and what we do.
