MINUTES: Motion by Larry2 and seconded by Dick to accept the minutes.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT: The balance is $5336.00. $4000.00 has been spent in the last three months.

 

SOHP Brochures- Lisa and Joel are still working on the new brochures.

 

Mentoring Program: Diney has been in touch with Nancy. She would like to do the mentor training in May after the 12th. She would like to have 10-12 participants.  The training will probably be in two  sessions. Diney will get a date set with Nancy.

 

Senior Projects: A senior at Elkland High School has requested to do her senior project with Seeds of Hope  Partners. She will do a food and diaper drive. The Mansfield Student completed his project with Christmas gifts.

A thank you note was read from a SOHP family.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

A letter will be sent to the churches thanking them for their support and informing them of SOHP accomplishments during the past year.

 

Mission Central will provide Easter candy bags for the children.

 

Tracy, a senior at Mansfield University is doing her internship with the Agency. She presented a new referral sheet for the caseworkers to use when making requests to SOHP. They are more specific and will especially help those who are doing assessments of home repairs.

 

The diaper closet presently has a good supply. The food pantry is getting low.

 

Families for January:

#1-07, #2-07, and #3-07 needed furniture and it has been delivered.

#4-07- Canton family- needs refrigerator and food. Seeds of Hope Partners will buy them Angel Food boxes   for February and March, an assessment of other needs will be made

#5-07- Mansfield- Seeds of Hope will buy Angel Food boxes for February and March

#6-07- Mansfield- Need bus tokens for transportation

 

The next meeting will be on February 21,2007. Lynn Warso will have devotions.
