TREASURER’S REPORT: Balance on hand as of June 21, 2006 $3,170.14.

OLD BUSINESS:

Mentoring Training Update : Is another training session being planned?

SHOP Brochures: No report on printing progress.

UPDATE ON FAMILIES PRESENTED IN MAY:

#161 completed

#162 Home repair: ceiling, flooring, faucet Assesment being done.

#163 complete except for mentoring ,

#164 Electrician needed. Bathroom faucets, screens, broken thermostat. Not assigned

NEW BUISNESS

2nd. Annual SOHP Picnic will be held July 19, 2006 at the Nypum building located behind the Human Services Agency in Wellsboro, Pa. It will begin at 6:00 pm. wuth those attending bringing a dish to pass, own table service and beverage. Activites will be fishing, golf, volleyball and of course bring a friend to the picnic. Dinny will need RSVP’s one week prior to purchase hot dogs.

Carole will write up a request to send to area high schools listing projects for SOHP that high school seniors can do to ,meet their requirements for graduation.

Carl and Dinny will address the problem of garbage removal from clients residences. They will take pictures of properties with problems and present them to the County Commissioners. A request for a waiver of dump fee or another way of securing funds to dispose of garbage will be made. If this could be done SOHP would volunteer to do cleanup and hauling.

Diapers are needed. Sizes 2, 3, 4 and 5

Pastor Steve applied for a grant and recieved $500.00 for SOHP. We are truly grateful for this donation.

Roseville United Methodist Church held an ice cream social and donated half of their proceeds to SOHP.

It will be determined at the July meeting if we are having a back to school clothing giveaway.

Carl was interviewed on air by the family Life Network and explained the SOHP ministry in Tioga county. A pastor from Owego, NY. was listening and is interested in starting a ministry in his county. A meeting is being arranged to share information with him.
