MINUTES

SCRIPTURE AND PRAYER Led by Dinny.

MINUTES: Motion to accept the minutes made by Carole ., seconded by Lisa .
Minutes approved as submitted.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Balance on hand as of March 15, 2006 is $4,678.58.

A motion was made by Rosalee to accept report. Seconded by Dinny. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:

Mentoring Training Update : Dr. Nancy Sidell will be conducting a mentoring class at the Human Service Agency building on April 23, 2006 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Cost for individuals participating in this class will be $20.00 per person for clearances. If individuals already have their clearances they must be less than one year old.

Ameri-Corp Vista Volunteer Update: Tabled.

Angel Food Ministries: Larry1 held a meeting with people interested about this program. A program director is still needed. An update will be brought back to the next meeting.

UPDATE ON FAMILIES PRESENTED IN MARCH:

#146 Mentoring still needed.

#147 Bike needed

#148 Cap and gown needed for graduation

#149 Clients lost everything to fire

Work site protcol was submitted to Dinny to be critiqued and brought back to the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS

Three high school students will be graduating this June. They are in need of individuals or families to make their graduation a special time.

Davis Furniture will be having an auction on March 25 and 26, 2006. SOHP will have a representative there to purchase needed mattresses and frames for beds if the cost is reasonable.

Morris Mennonite women and other quitters donated beautiful 6 quilts to SOHP families.

DEVOTIONS for April 19th meeting will be done by Carl.
