MINUTES: approved as submitted. with one correction. Sue gave the devotions in January.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Balance on hand as of January 18, 2006 is $4, 790.89. Motion to accept the report made by Dick, seconded by Lisa. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS:

Mentoring Training Update : Dr. Nancy Sidell form Mansfield University was present to discuss the Mentor Training program. The Agency has provided their facility for the training to be held. The caseworkers will also attend this training along with any interested volunteers who would like to become trained. A timeline and details of requirements will be presented in the February meeting.

Ameri-Corp Vista Volunteer Update: `A discussion was held on several areas of this program. Sam made the determination that the Agency would not be sponsoring this program . It was determined that there is a need for this type of service for our organization and A-Hack will be contacted again. .

NEW BUSINESS:

A discussion was held on developing a protocol for on site visits and work sites. This would provide information for caseworkers and volunteers to complete a job in the most efficient way.

Erica completed her Senior Project for Mansfield High School and the diaper closet is full. Many thanks for all her hard work and dedication to our organization.

There is a need for toothbrushes and shampoo and this will be e-mailed out to our members.

The Angel Food Ministry based out of Good Hope, Georgia provides food for any person with no income restrictions and also accepting food stamps. A discussion was held if SOHP would become a host site at the Human Service's building in Wellsboro, Pa. Members will consider this and a decision will be made at the February meeting.

The Share Food program was presented and clients will be given the information if they would like to participate in this .
